Last Saturday, 7 March, the ABSCH 2026 Physical Education and Sports Conference took place.

This time the venue was Dunalastair School Valle Norte, which welcomed more than 200 teachers from the field.

The plenary session was delivered by Mr Emilio Saavedra, whose presentation was entitled “Neurosciences and Coaching for Sports Development: How to Improve Your Brain to Perform?”

This was followed by two rounds of workshops, which the teachers were able to attend according to their interests.

Note: In British English, “football” is used for what is called “fútbol” (soccer), “volleyball” and “athletics” remain the same, and dates are written as “7 March” without the ordinal “7th”. “Mr” is used without a full stop in modern British style when followed by the name, but “Mr.” is also acceptable. I have kept the original names and school names unchanged.
