Expo Taller of the Association of British Schools of Chile (ABSCH) is a collaborative academic-professional meeting, whose central purpose is to make visible, share and transfer good educational practices among teachers of different levels and disciplines.
Far from being a traditional congress, this space is articulated as an active learning ecosystem: each workshop is conceived as a pedagogical laboratory where teachers not only present experiences, but also invite colleagues to experience innovative methodologies, reflect critically and co-create solutions that can be replicated in their own school contexts.
Key features
- Interdisciplinarity: The workshops integrate approaches from different areas (STEM, Humanities, Arts, Well-being, Languages), enhancing the transversality of learning.
- Active participation: Attendees cease to be passive recipients to become actors who experience, dialogue and produce collective knowledge.
- Transfer and scalability: Each experience is designed to transcend the school of origin, offering strategies applicable to different educational realities.
- Professional culture: A teaching community of practice is generated that promotes continuous improvement, updating global trends and strengthening the shared identity as an ABSCH network.
Expected impact
The Expo Workshop is configured as a catalyst for educational innovation:
- It expands the methodological repertoire of teachers.
- It enhances the sense of belonging and collaboration between schools.
- Responds to the current challenges of global education, connecting international trends with local practices.
- It places the teacher as a learning leader, with agency to redesign meaningful experiences for the benefit of their students.
